Draping

I am sorry I have been so absent, I have been contracting a lot on my design and making side of fashion. 

So I have always been interested in Haute Couture. I have always found it so fascinating and intense. I wanted to have a go a one of their draping techniques and I am pleased with the outcome considering it was my first attempt. 

If you like you like to create different shapes and fabric details then this is an easy way to create a fun little outfit. All you need to do is pin a baggy piece of fabric to you mannequin and then proceed to pleat and cut shapes into the fabric until you are happy then repeat for other area's. 

Power Dress

I think these dresses (of which I have bought two...!) from Topshop are emence! The drop waist line and or the bright prints or sheer panels makes for a powerful statement just from the dress. Easy. Done. Just add heels, grab a bag and your out the door! 

They are so effortlessly chic and easy for when you wake up late! There is no point going crazy with accessories because you don't need too it would be over kill! A simple necklace or bracelet is all thats needed! I am in Love with them! 

So Unique

I am head over heels with the Spring/Summer Toyshop's Unique collection. Its quite a sporty look this time which is a trend this Spring/Summer but I am not really a fan of (sport too not just the look!) but the pieces are not sport focused I don't believe but but has a sprig of flavour sport. I really like the panel colour blocking I think it works well to give a sculpting allusion.  

Sheer is also a big trend this Spring/Summer

What a Show Stopper...!

I think everyone stopped and gasped when they saw Rihanna rocked up to the Grammys wearing this.

Giambattista Valli gown.  People have different views (naturally) but I think it's stunning! I think it's the child in me that loves it, it's the most dellious pink it's like a princess gown and I can't help but have a soft spot for it. It's like a giant cake or something jelly fish...? I love it. And the child in me that loved fairy tales and the dresses they wore loved it too. It's all about having fun at this event and Rihanna's dress was on point for this!

Haute Couture: Dior

Haute Couture is the cream of fashion. Dior is my favourite Haute Couture designer. Its so classic with an amazing heritage, but I have to say this was my favourite collection. But A few pieces with was similar to its 1920s classics which I just adore.  

Power Prints

Sorry for the long absences I locked myself out of my blogger, but I am back now!

 So their is no better way than to start your year with a explosion of beautiful and print jacquard prints. These ones form Topshop below so bold. If you are feeling extra bold go co-ord or maybe just a power hit with a skirt a plain top and layered with necklaces and some chunky heels.

Summer to Winter

I am so sorry I have been slack with updating my blog, Christmas is coming and I was spending too much time worrying about that. No excuses I will be better and next year will be the best for my blog!

Right, if you are like me you love summer and that is the season you love buying clothes for. Well if you live in a place like I do for example England where is cold and rains a lot (although as I look out of my window the sun is beaming) you don't get the most out of you summer attire. I bought a lovely playsuit this summer and I only got to where it once before the weather went belly up! So I thought I would find away to bring my summer clothes into the winter! 

 Layering Necklaces is a big trending coming, and Its a trend I love!
